School trip to Lisbon
This end of school year trip to Lisbon is the perfect mix to get to know the so-called city of lights as well as enjoy its monuments, streets, history, and all the leisure and adventure options it offers. And to top it all off, you get to spend time with your classmates
We will start the trip with a bus ride or two from your city of origin to Lisbon. We can provide monitors from our team who are well experienced with these kinds of trips to meet you in your city or if you have teachers accompanying you we will wait for you in Lisbon and accompany throughout your trip.
Once we arrive in Lisbon, we will stay in a 3 * VIP Miramonte Inn type or similar hotel (it is on the outskirts of Lisbon). Has multiple rooms and full board.
Throughout the 6 days of travel you will discover Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, and the Costa de Caparica. This program includes the entrance to some of the most significant monuments of the city such as the Belém Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Zoo or the Oceanarium.

The program is designed to enter the hotel on Sunday night and departure on Friday.
Price for the trip is calculated for a group of at least 45 people without a bus between the months of January to March.

DAY 1: PLACE OF ORIGIN to LISBON:
Exciting News! we’re going to Lisbon. Get seated on the bus and let’s get going. The student is responsible for their own lunch. Will be travelling for most of the day but once we arrive at the hotel we will eat dinner and get accommodated.
DAY 2: OCEANARIO LISBON and LISBON CITY:
In the morning after breakfast we will departure to visit the Oceanário of Lisbon (entrance included).
It was built on top of the sea and has 3 levels. One visible from the ground, another visible at sea level and a third, at underwater level. In it we will be able to see species from all corners of the World and are divided according to the Oceans from which they come.
Afterwards, we will have a picnic lunch provided by the hotel. In the afternoon, we will continue visiting the city of Lisbon. We will have a panoramic tour of the city and then visit emblematic places such as the Rossio Square, Restauradores Square with its Obelisk, the Cathedral, etc.
Then we will return to hotel, have dinner and go to sleep. We have another day head of us!
DAY 3: The BELÉN-CASCÁIS-ESTORIL TOWER:
After breakfast, we will depart to the Belém tower (entrance included). The construction of this tower began in 1514 and was completed in 1519. It started as a defensive building that sought to protect and especially alert the citizens of Lisbon before a possible attack by sea Later though, it ended up becoming a Customs building in which taxes were paid to enter the city and functioned as a navigation lighthouse.
We will also visit the Jerónimos Monastery. It took 100 years to construct this building and is the prime example of the late Portuguese Gothic Manueline architecture. It is classified as a UNESCO world heritage site.
DAY 4: LISBON ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN
After you have filled your tummies with breakfast we will head in the direction of the Lisbon zoological garden (entrance included). Here will see thousands of species from all over the world, such as koalas, rhinoceros, toucans, seals, dolphins, etc. We can also enjoy the aquatic exhibitions with trained animals.
A Picnic lunch will be provided by the Hotel.
In the afternoon, we will continue with the visit and at the indicated time, return to the hotel, eat dinner and head to sleep for the next day.
DAY 5: SINTRA
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Sintra, a stronghold and resting place of the Portuguese monarchy and aristocracy. It is recognized by UNESCO as is the Palace and Park of Pena, National Palace of Sintra and Dos Mouros castle.
Afterwards, we will return to the hotel for the lunch.
Have free time in the afternoon.
Then return to the hotel, eat dinner, and get some rest for our trip back home.
