Do not worry! In this post we will give you instructions on what you cannot miss so that your visit to Prague in one day Be unforgettable.

Prague is a perfect city for this type of trip because it is not very large and its greatest tourist interest is concentrated in the center, around the old medieval city, which is the most charming area.

Ready to start the route?

In the morning

We suggest you start from Wenceslas Square, center of the modern city Nova Mesto and entrance boundary to the medieval city.

From it, go up to the Old Town Square, which is one of the points of greatest tourist interest in Prague along with the St. Charles Bridge. In the square, you can go up the town hall tower or visit the impressive Tyn Temple but what you can't miss is the astronomical clock, which is the oldest medieval clock in the world, with an amazing story behind it... But we'll leave that for you when you arrive, as we don't want to give spoilers.

To the north of the old square, we will ascend towards the Josefov Jewish neighborhood. The visit to this neighborhood begins from Jewish cementary and can last up to 2 hours due to 6 synagogues What is there to visit? Since we have just enough time, we recommend only visiting two: the old new synagogue and the Spanish synagogue.

Where to eat

Since we are in the area of the Jewish quarter, we take this opportunity to recommend one of the best restaurants in Prague: Restaurant U Golema, with varied food from European, through typical food of the country, which is finger-licking good, to Eastern European cuisine. .

It is located 200 meters from Prague's Old Square, ideal for continuing the route and achieving the goal of getting to know Prague in one day.

From the Jewish quarter crossing the Vltava River, we arrive at the park Letna Park where we can enjoy the best views of Prague “The bridges over the Vltava River”. If you stop by and send us a photo, we'd appreciate it.

In the afternoon

Buy your tickets in advance and enjoy visits to monuments and the best tours without lines!

Once we have taken the obligatory photo, we will go up to the Prague Castle We call it a castle but it is really a miniature walled city with beautiful gardens. You can't get lost inside. the golden alley, one of the most beautiful streets in Prague where Franz Kafka lived; and St. Vitus Cathedral.

We will leave the castle grounds through the Matías Gate and go down to the Plaza de Bad Strana. Once in the square we will make a quick visit to St. Nicholas Cathedral and after this we will arrive at San Carlos Bridge, one of the most famous in the world where the city's greatest tourist attraction meets.

At night

With this route we would have reached the end of our Prague sightseeing tour in one day, but do you still have a few hours left to dedicate to fun and drinking a typical beer of the city?

As we do not doubt that the answer is yes, we can tell you that on the east bank of the Vltava River, next to the Saint Charles Bridge, are some of the main pubs and clubs in Prague. These are the liveliest places in the city every day since the public is overwhelmingly tourists. Not to mention the largest nightclub in Europe: Karlovy Lazne, you know that variety is the key, and this place has five floors with different music on each one.

Our proposal during the month of May is the Prague Beer Festival, you still have time!

Have you landed in Prague and you only have 24 hours to visit the city?
