So don't be lazy, get up early and go for a walk first thing in the morning around the newly awakened city. They say that Malaga is discovered wandering through its streets.

The meeting point for Malaga residents is located on Larios Street, the main avenue of the city. Meet there and walk to the Plaza de la Constitución where you can have breakfast Delicious Malaga coffee at Café Central. With a good breakfast in your body, go up to Gibralfaro Castle, from where you will have the best views of the bay of Malaga. There you can have your second coffee of the day, a great plan!

After going up to the castle you have two options: continue visiting the city or go to the beach.

Beach Plan

One of its most famous beaches is in the Victory Corner 20 minutes by car, where you can taste the delicious fried fish from the espetos and attend the spectacle of choosing the tapas to the shout of the waiters who sing them as if it were a raffle. The most famous is Restaurante Tintero, next to the capital;)

Another beach that you can go to is Buriana beach, in Nerja, a little further from Malaga, 50 minutes away, but especially dedicated to lovers of the series “Blue Summer””, where you will find the famous Ayo beach bar with the best paellas on the entire coast, or so they say... And don't forget to have some good beers!

If you already spend the afternoon on the beach, don't forget Have a Gin Tonic on a terrace with views of Gibralfaro Castle, a perfect funplan to rest away from so many processions.

City Plan

Buy your tickets for museums and shows and enjoy your day in Malaga without queues.

If, on the other hand, you decide to visit the city again, since you have traveled so many, or so few, kilometers for something, we recommend go eat in one of the most famous bars in the center like Bar Pimpi, very frequented by artists from the world of flamenco and perfect for wine drinks. Fashion hipsters also have their place in the Bodegas de Antonio El Guardia, as always... For tastes and colors!

In the afternoon you can visit one of the historical heritage monuments of Malaga, such as the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater or the Cathedral. You can also walk through the Chinitas area where the famous Café Chinitas is located or go to La Malagueta, visit the recently remodeled port and the “Palmeral de las Surpresas”. And don't forget the Picasso Museum, highly recommended!

Wherever you go you will notice the fresh smell of jasmine, the typical flower of Malaga that you will see reflected in the Malaga biznagas, a symbol of the city that even gives its name to the recognition award at the Andalusian city's film festival, ¡Ahí es nada! Walking around you will also find the statue of the “cenachero” or former sardine street vendor, a profession respected by the people of Malaga due to its historical value and the fishing tradition of the area.

At night Dine on one of the terraces in Plaza de la Constitución or Calle Larios and party starting at the Plaza de la Merced, a meeting place before starting the party with some good beers or wines or take a look at these Malaga restaurants.

Happy Easter!!!

One of the most visited sites during Holy Week, and not only for its processions.
