5 recommended views of Madrid

If there is one thing you can enjoy in Madrid during the summer, it is its magnificent views. Each one of them has something unique and there is a perfect time of day to contemplate them. What places would you like to see? Is there one from which you can see the entire city? We bring you our favorite places with the best views of Madrid to spend the afternoon with friends. See you there!

The Temple of Debod

A Sunday afternoon is the perfect day to enjoy the views at the Temple of Debod, Madrid's quintessential historical monument from Ancient Egypt. Crowds of people, especially foreign visitors, come to contemplate one of the most spectacular sunsets in the capital while they catch a glimpse of the Casa de Campo, the Almudena Cathedral and the Madrid of the Austrias. One of the favorite views of our traveling friends from @MadridTB and our collaborator James Leahu (@leahu86).

Terrace of Casa Encendida

There is no better weekend plan than a beer on the terrace of Casa Encendida. You will be able to observe Madrid from a truly privileged place that also hosts concerts and cultural actors during the summer to spend the afternoon in the cool... You have all the information in the following link. So come and enjoy Casa Encendida!

The circle of Fine Arts

This is without a doubt the best place to have a good panoramic view of Madrid for many Madrid residents. Because? Incredible views of Gran Vía and the center of the capital. A true privilege that you cannot miss if you visit the city. The only bad thing is the price: 3 euros per view. Not everything was going to be perfect! A #funplan recommended by José Manuel Pérez (@tropocolo) and one of James' favorites.

Roof of Casa Granada

If you are in the center of Madrid on any given Sunday, go to Plaza Tirso de Molina and climb to the top of the building on the corner. One of the emblems of Madrid awaits you there, this restaurant famous for its views of the city. Eye! It's usually full so go early, and if it's in the afternoon, even better ;)

The hill of Tío Pío

It is preferred by our collaborator Cris Vara (@cristipun) and also recommended by José Manuel. They call it the park of the Seven Tits because of its seven hills. To access it you must get off at the Buenos Aires station, near Vallecas. It may be a little far from the center, but the journey is worth it. You will have one of the least known but most beautiful views of the capital. Send us a souvenir photo with the hagstag #funplan!

And you, what are your favorite views of the capital? Don't forget to recommend #funplans;) and comment on your feelings in one of the best restaurants in Madrid.
